Dr. Tran strives to provide authentic, empathetic, and personalized eye care to all age groups, and patient types. Dr. Tran has been serving patients in some capacity for over 10 years: As a lab technician manufacturing lenses and glasses; an optician repairing, adjusting, and dispensing glasses; and as an optometric technician working alongside doctors and patients. As an optometrist he is now providing individualized care, catering treatment and management to each unique need.
Dr. Tran received his optometric education from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Optometry, where he gained hands-on experience in the subspecialty areas of contact lenses, prosthetics, pediatric care, low vision, and disease. His training was bolstered with externships in vision therapy, remote care, disease, and family eye care. Dr. Tran received his undergraduate education at California State University, Fullerton, where he studied cellular and developmental biology as well as philosophy while conducting research in their tumor and immunology lab.
Outside of the office Dr. Tran enjoys volunteerism by being a “Big Brother” with Big Brothers Big Sisters, participating in mission trips to Mexico with the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH), and being an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA). Dr. Tran also enjoys a myriad of hobbies, such as: Muay Thai, video games, backpacking, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, endurance running, and rock climbing.
